The '''Frosthop Blowhog''' is a species of [[Blowhog family|blowhog]] that appears in ''[[Pikmin 2... Again?]]'', replacing the [[Icy Blowhog]]. It resembles its {{hp}} incarnation, being a smaller [[Puffy Blowhog]], which makes it the smallest flying blowhog, but with cyan and blue stripes, as well, its top is [[Ice|frozen]], having ice [[crystal]]s on it, additionally, its body is pointed to the floor. The Frosthop Blowhog flies through the air, however, when spotting [[Pikmin family|Pikmin]] and [[leader]]s, the Frosthop Blowhog will fly toward them, until above them, it'll spew cold wind, freezing Pikmin and leaders, except the [[Ice Pikmin]] and [[Glow Pikmin]]. The Frosthop Blowhog is an airborne blowhog found in the files of Hey! Pikmin. It is at least partially transparent and has alternating cyan and blue bands spanning the entire length of its body and chunks of either crystal or ice on its backside. Its behavior is unknown, but judging from its orientation, it possibly could have hovered over Pikmin and leaders by blowing air onto them, maybe to prevent Pikmin from being thrown or make them cold.

The Frosthop Blowhog is a species of blowhog that appears in Pikmin 2... Again?, replacing the Icy Blowhog. It resembles its Hey! Pikmin incarnation, being a smaller Puffy Blowhog, which makes it the smallest flying blowhog, but with cyan and blue stripes, as well, its top is frozen, having ice crystals on it, additionally, its body is pointed to the floor. The Frosthop Blowhog flies through the air, however, when spotting Pikmin and leaders, the Frosthop Blowhog will fly toward them, until above them, it'll spew cold wind, freezing Pikmin and leaders, except the Ice Pikmin and Glow Pikmin. Due to its back coated in ice, only ice-resistant Pikmin can attack it. Once defeated the Frosthop Blowhog will deflate like a balloon flying to the air before then falling to the ground, similar to the Puffy Blowhog, Withering Blowhog and the Floataswine.

The Frosthop Blowhog appears in Pikmin: Interstellar Cryptid, resembling an upright Icy Blowhog with ice crystals on its back. It's often found affixed to the floor by its suction-like snout, not unlike a Suckerpunch Blowhog. When approached, it will spurt out some cold air from its snout, elevating it into the air. When directly above Pikmin, it will release an even stronger blast of cold air to freeze them. Ice Pikmin are recommended because of this.

- “A close relative of the blowtorch and suckerpunch blowhogs, the frosthop blowhog has less mobility due to the cold air circulating through its body, as cold air is denser than hot air. It uses its ice breath as both a means of locomotion and for freezing prey.”
