The King Candypop Bud is a species of candypop appearing in Pikmin 2... Again?. It is similar to the Queen Candypop Bud but has very light blue petals, and the petals' tips cycle between the colors of purple, white, gray, pink, cyan, green, brown, lavender, black, orange, and for only Timed Mode, periwinkle. Each color represents a Pikmin type that doesn't have a Onion, excluding the Bulbmin and Glow Pikmin.

The King Candypop Bud is a candypop bud appearing in Pikmin: Attack of the Breadbugs. The flower's spots alternate between purple and white, presenting an opportunity, with proper timing, to choose between receiving up to ten of either Purple Pikmin or White Pikmin after a Pikmin is thrown in. The plant withers after one use, and fewer Pikmin will be yielded if there are too many Pikmin on the field.

The spots on their petals alternate from red, yellow, blue, purple, and white, each color symbolizing the color of the Pikmin they will produce at that moment when a Pikmin is thrown in. They are usually found on rest sublevels that have Queen Candypop Buds, but will display only the colors of discovered Pikmin.
