Marching Troopants are troopants in Pikmin 2... Again?. These brown troopants organize themselves into single-file lines, one behind another. Under the command of the Commandant Troopant, Marching Troopants will rhythmically lunge toward Pikmin and leaders in their territory, instantly killing Pikmin on contact and harming leaders. However, if they miss and instead collide with a solid surface, typically a wall, they will be temporarily stunned alongside any other Marching Troopants behind them. When every Marching Troopant is stunned, the Commandant Troopant will bow its head in shame, allowing it to be attacked, until the Marching Troopants come to. Once the Commandant Troopant is defeated, the Marching Troopants will panic, scattering every which way, and finally become vulnerable. Marching Troopants later appear on their own in caves, without the Commandant Troopant leading them, where their lunge attack is far less dangerous and they can always be damaged.
