The Raging Flint Beetle is a species of flint beetle Pikmin 2... Again? that resembles many of its kind but with a jagged mouth, a black tongue, and glowing red eyes that make its mouth almost unnoticeable. It also acts like any other flint beetle, dropping nectar or pellets on the ground when flipped, but will pursue its attackers afterward to eat them. After some time or after eating Pikmin or biting leaders, it calms down and returns to its normal behaviors.

The Aggressive Flint Beetle is a part of the flint beetle family in Pikmin: New Adventure. It is a less paranoid relative of the Iridescent Flint Beetle that will chase Olimar and Pikmin instead of running away from them, and will even attempt to eat them.

The Agitated Flint Beetle is the most recently discovered of its kind in Pikmin: Sinister Incinerator. It sports a solid red shell and a pair of blue antennae. Instead of fleeing like most other flint beetles, it scampers towards Pikmin and leaders in a blind rage, knocking over anything it runs into. Pikmin it runs it can be deflowered by the impact, and leaders it collides with can be hurt by it. Throwing Pikmin onto the creature to flip it over a few times will cause it to retreat underground, having learned its lesson.
