Dusty Cottonflight is a meggpie in Pikmin 2... Again?. It is moth-like, having an oval-shaped body covered with purple fluff. Its wings are purple as well, and its face is obscured with only its red glowing eyes visible. When attacked, it flies away, attempting to flee, leaving a poison cloud behind. However, it doesn't fly very far because its wings aren't made for long-distance travel. When it spots a leader, it acts differently, opening its wings and aggressively pursuing the leader to push back and damage them.

- “Dusty Cottonflight / Timoras spora / Cottonflight family. This species has poisonous pollen from a flower species known as Toxicup all throughout its body hair. They are for some reason afraid of the Pikmin and will try to fly away. While for us... They try to attack with no fear, but more aggression. What did we do, I don't know, for this is the behavior of the cottonflight.”
