Bulldust is a fine coat of dust that coats the ground in certain areas. When disturbed by a sufficient force such as a large enemy's movements, it will scatter into the air. Pikmin that are caught in clouds of this dust will be irritated to the point of panic.

Bulldust is an obstacle in Pikmin: Interstellar Cryptid. It primarily appears in the second area, Sweltering Field. It appears as a faded orange dust that covers the ground of certain areas and can take on numerous shapes while settled. Certain powerful forces, such as a Red Bulborb tripping, a Beady Long Legs stomping, or an explosion, will cause a cloud of dust to rise into the surrounding air. Pikmin caught in the dust will panic, which often gets in the way of combat. Pumpkin Pikmin do not have such an issue, as their pumpkin shells are hardy enough to block the dust.
