Charging Groink are salgun species Pikmin 2... Again?. It is similar to the Gatling Groink but is blue and bigger, and affixed to its body are batteries, electrical wires, lightbulbs, and a gauge. When spotting Pikmin or leaders, it will prepare its signature attack, during which it moves more slowly, and its gauge increases to indicate how close it is to firing. Afterward, it fires a high-velocity projectile that creates a large, devastating explosion upon hitting a surface. Upon defeat, the Charging Groink will overload and release a burst of steam, which knocks away nearby Pikmin but does not kill them, and like all other salguns, the Charging Groink will revive after some time.
