Green Spectralids appear only in Challenge Mode stages that contain Challenge Pikmin. They flutter about like other spectralids but land for slightly shorter intervals of time. Contact from a Pikmin instantly defeats them, and their bodies become three drops of green nectar, leaving no other salvageable remains.

In Pikmin: Return to the Distant Planet
In Pikmin: Return to the Distant Planet, Green Spectralids appear in both Challenge Mode and Story Mode. They can be struck out of the air by a Pikmin since they do not rest on the ground, but on the foilage like grasses and flowers.
