A net is an obstacle appearing as a grid of typically woven material. Pikmin, leaders and some enemies can be caught or tangled in them in a variety of ways, although nets can sometimes also be climbed on or across in certain scenarios.

Nets are an obstacle in Pikmin 2... Again?. They are typical white nets that most Pikmin types can simply pass through but Winged Pikmin can not. They are present around some treasures to enforce puzzle-solving by preventing Winged Pikmin from being the easy solution. Claw Pikmin can destroy nets due to their sharp claws.
