Glow crystals are items in Pikmin 2... Again? that resemble diamond-shaped crystals of many colors and are rewarded for protecting the Lumiknoll in night expeditions. They appear at the area's landing site the following day, and Pikmin can carry them. When brought close to a specific amethyst gate, a glow crystal will project a beam of light at the center of the amethyst gate, and in a panic, the Pikmin will throw the glow crystal at the gate, destroying it and the gate.
