The Jingle Raider is a creep-crab in Pikmin X: Deep Freeze that lobs chunks of ice from afar, which slide across the ground and freeze Pikmin when they get bowled over. Once the Pikmin are frozen, the Jingle Raider will start to reel them in with a powerful suction force, quickly picking them off with its central claw once the helpless Pikmin are close enough. The creature's hard exoskeleton prevents attacks from the front, so Pikmin must be thrown onto its exposed rear to damage it. Though the Jingle Raider moves slowly and has a hard time moving its weak spot from approaching Pikmin, it can still devour nearby Pikmin with its claw should they walk too close to its face.
The Jingle Raider is treated as a miniboss in the Glistening Labyrinth but becomes a normal enemy in later encounters elsewhere.
