The Guumlix is a boss goolix in Pikmin 2... Again?. It is like the Goolix, but pink, and with a single yellow nucleus that is round like a gumball. At first, it resides on a web, resembling a gumball treasure, but once weighted down, it'll reveal its true form. Its rubbery membrane bounces away Pikmin and leaders that touch it, though it is possible that they can penetrate it and be engulfed by the Guumlix. Whistling Pikmin trapped within will prompt them to swim out, and Pikmin that are charged into its body will automatically attack the nucleus. Sometime after it engulfs at least one Pikmin or its nucleus is swarmed, the Guumlix's nucleus will briefly grow, the Guumlix soon digesting the Pikmin within it, requiring quick action on the commanding leader's part to prevent casualties. Upon defeat, the Guumlix's body will disappear, leaving the nucleus behind.
