The Titan Blowhog is a large Fiery Blowhog. They act much like their smaller brethren, wandering about their territory while idle and blowing fire from their trunks at nearby Pikmin and leaders. Notably, its breath blows away anything it doesn't burn first.

The Vulcan Blowhog is a species of hypertrophic blowhog appearing in Pikmin Evolution, being an oversized Fiery Blowhog. It shares a similar appearance to its smaller brethren, but instead of being light gray with gentle blue eyes, it's jet-black with glowing orange eyes, making it almost as if it's covered in ash and has eyes lit aflame. The Vulcan Blowhog acts similarly to its fellow hypertrophic relatives, those being the Yeti Blowhog and Leviathan Blowhog, wherein it will roam its territory, this blowhog, in particular, showing great aggression to ice-based creatures but fleeing from water-based creatures. Fighting the Vulcan Blowhog is dangerous as, when it charges its attack, it inhales large amounts of air, and anything pulled into its mouth by the vacuum will be eaten and killed. The vacuum caused by its inhalation isn't as strong as the Leviathan Blowhog's but is weaker than the Yeti Blowhog's. Afterward, the Vulcan Blowhog will spew out a stream of boiling lava that spreads along the ground, limiting movement as well as burning anything that touches it. Elixer Pikmin are the only exception, as they are not only unaffected by the heat but are also empowered by it. That said, any Elixer Pikmin struck by the lava as it is spewed out may be pushed back into a nearby abyss if not careful. As well, Vulcan Blowhogs are resistant to the increased damage of charged Elixer Pikmin, making syrups all the more useful against the beast. Notably, the soaking blue syrup is an excellent choice to use when the Vulcan Blowhog is sucking in air; when inhales, the syrup will badly damage its fire-producing organs, making it only shoot out a harmless watery muck that only weakly pushes Pikmin back. This makes the Vulcan Blowhog completely defenseless for a time, but after a while, it will shoot out a large flaming boulder from its mouth, unclogging its systems and making it able to fight once again. Overall, while the Vulcan Blowhog is indeed tougher to fight compared to the Fiery Blowhog, it's not that much worse since it's susceptible to the same strategies.
