Attacks Eats Pikmin

Crimson Runblubs are small chrysanthemums appearing in Pikmin: New World as the larval form of the Creeping Chrysanthemum. It initially appears to simply be the remains of a defeated Creeping Chrysanthemum, but when approached, a Crimson Runblub stands up on its five scrawny, root-like legs, revealing its true identity. It will then scuttle towards nearby Pikmin, picking them up with its tendrils and dropping them into its mouth. When leaders approach the Crimson Runblubs, however, it will quickly flee to evade them, making it difficult to attack. Because the legs of a Crimson Runblub are immune to attack, Pikmin must be thrown onto the side of the creature's head to damage the creature. Throwing Pikmin onto the top of its head will most likely result in them being eaten. The perfect time to attack a Crimson Runblub is when it is fleeing, as they are completely off-guard at the time and their defense is extremely minimal. Purple Pikmin, Red Pikmin, or Olive Pikmin are the three recommended types for beating this relatively easy-to-defeat enemy.

Notes

Olimar's notes

At some point in the fall, the carnivorous bulb on the creeping chrysanthemum's stalk is shed and the plant withers up and dies. However, close examination shows that this nutritious bulb contains all of the genetic information to create an entirely new chrysanthemum plant. It will lay dormant on the ground until the soil is fertile enough for it to grow in. If the soil never approaches the desired level of fertility, the bulb will resort to using its remaining nutrients to hunt along the ground for food. By late spring, each and every one of these creatures will have grown into the next generation of immobile creeping chrysanthemums.

Louie's notes

Simply remove the spines and slice the large, fatty bulb into rings. Deep-fry in batter and then serve on top of a hamburger with onions, tomatoes, lettuce, and mayonnaise. After eating this meal you'll never order onion rings with your burger ever again!

Sagittarius' notes

Unsuitable for a potted houseplant, it will move about the household if its soil is not properly fertilized. Though it will eat most household pests such as flies or mice, it will kill almost all of the other plants inside the house with its blind groping for food. Also, if kept for too long, it will turn into the vicious creeping chrysanthemum! Be sure to plant this creature outside and treat with caution.

Libra's notes

This truly amazing shade of red is the dream of every fashion designer. However, its composition makes it very hard to transform into any type of clothing, so it will remain just a dream forever.
