The Ugly Bulborb is a species of grub-dog appearing in Pikmin 2... Again?. They are exclusive from The Amazing New Update!!, first appearing in Mission 1 as enemies. They are based on the prototype Bulborbs of the same appearance. They are pink grub-dogs with two black beady eyes, an odd mouth with a visible tongue but no teeth, a rump with white spots, and two legs with two toes each. The Ugly Bulborb acts similarly to the Red Bulborb, chasing Pikmin and leaders it sees and eating them when close enough. However, the Ugly Bulborb will make Pikmin, except Purple Pikmin, panic due to its strange appearance. It has less health than most of its relatives, however. The Ugly Bulborb is also playable in Mission 3, the goal being to make every Pikmin and enemy look at it, dying of how ugly it is, referencing the Spongebob Squarepants episode, Something Smells. Once this is accomplished, text reading "THE END" will appear on a black screen, before another smaller text appears underneath reading "...It's not over yet, actually".

Attacks Eats Pikmin

The Nubby Bulborb is a strange enemy found in Pikmin: Decayed Leaf. The creature looks just like a Carnation Bulborb, but it sports two long legs instead of none at all. The Nubby Bulborb never sleeps, preferring to patrol its territory in a set path instead. The area is small and usually near a treasure or pile of gold nuggets or bridge fragments. If approached, the Nubby Bulborb will give chase to the squad and pursue them relentlessly. Once it inevitably catches up, it can eat up to 3 Pikmin in a single bite. However, the Nubby Bulborb is very clumsy, and will frequently stumble and fall if it misses. Rarely, it may even fall down when it's in the middle of pursuit. If it does, it will take 7 seconds to try and get back up. This gives a chance to get away and out of view, causing the Nubby Bulborb to give up its chase and return to its territory. Despite all this, the Nubby Bulborb is pretty weak and can be taken out easily if Pikmin attack it from its backside. Nubby Bulborbs come in a variety of different colors depending on the area they are found in.

Attacks Eats Pikmin

Nubby Bulborbs are a species of small, pink bulborbs that are no smaller than a dwarf bulborb but are taller than them as a result of their long legs. They have no teeth, but have no problem eating Pikmin whole or biting leaders.
