The Unfortunate Troopant is troopant in Pikmin 2... Again?. It has a round, silver body, two thin legs, and eyes mounted on stalks. It is harmless but is regularly targeted by enemies. It will attempt to flee if it isn't killed before it has the chance. While idle, they can annoy enemies into executing attacks, which can hit Pikmin and leaders if those attacks have a wide range, as well as awaken sleeping enemies just by being nearby. While they can be used to distract other enemies, they can also distract idle Pikmin into chasing after them.
