Notes

Collin's notes

Even with all my schooling and all my communication smarts, sometimes I just can't contact people. They must be hiding from me like this creature. When it's underneath the sand, it's practically impossible to find. I just wish my friends back home would reach out more often. Are they hiding from me, or just waiting for me to be weak so they can attack? Probably the first one...

Brittany's notes

The green on this creature is a rather ugly display. I think it realizes this too because it spends all its time covering itself in a much more suitable sandy color. Sometimes I wish Charlie would take this creature's advice and wear something else...

Louie's notes

This beast tastes so good that it can be eaten whole. Sautee it, steam it, or roast it. It will taste slightly sweet with a delicate flakiness to it. Definitely a great meal to impress your boss with. If only I had a boss that I cared to impress.

Alph's notes

Structural flaw: weak hide / Weight: 3. This beast is easy enough to deal with when spotted. The real problem is spotting it before it can act first. Maybe I should get prescription glasses, just to be safe.

Shepherd's notes

When I first learned of this creature's existence I couldn't sleep for a few nights. The idea that something is watching me, ready to pounce at any moment chills me to the core. I wish I had Oatchi with me to protect me.

Charlie's notes

It is important to stay vigilant whenever exploring the underwater portions of this planet. Creatures like this that have adapted to living underwater can outsmart us very easily. These critters are hunters first and foremost, and I for sure don't want to become the hunted.

Olimar's notes

Buried Chapchap / Picoris dentes / Chompchap family. The Buried Chapchap is probably one of the most successful hunters on this planet. From what I have observed, they nearly have an 80% success rate when it comes to smaller creatures such as Wolpoles. If I were a Wollyhop I'd be careful where I lay my eggs. Luckily though, Pikmin seem to be more capable of escaping. If a Buried Chapchap grabs a few Pikmin, there are a couple of seconds to save them. Be quick and charge the rest of your squad at it. You might just save a few lives.
