White Pikmin are a type of Pikmin whose most noteworthy characteristics are their faster speed compared to other Pikmin, their ability to find buried objects that are completely hidden underground, and their immunity to poison. Their defining physical characteristics are their red eyes, white color, and smaller size. Upon being eaten, White Pikmin eject a poisonous fluid into the eater, which poisons them, causing instant damage that is often lethal to smaller enemies. That said, this does not prevent the Pikmin's death, so it should be used as a last resort.

White Pikmin return in Pikmin 2... Again?, retaining many of their previous traits. They are first discovered in the Chemist's Laboratory. White Pikmin have lower damage but higher attack speed, dig slightly faster, and retain the ability to sense buried treasures. The poison they release when eaten inflicts slightly increased damage, 450 to be precise, but can vary depending on the type of enemy: minibosses take 300 damage, bosses take 100 damage, and poison enemies receive no damage.

White Pikmin (白ピクミン) are a type of Pikmin found in Pikmin 5. These Pikmin are small and have big red eyes. They have a low attack strength, but they can dig up hidden objects. White Pikmin are immune to poison, allowing them to remove poison hazards.

White Pikmin (白ピクミン) are the fifth Pikmin type discovered in Pikmin 8: The World Beyond, found by throwing Pikmin into an Ivory Candypop Bud in the White Flower Garden 2.0, a cave located in the Palace of Waves. They are the smallest and fastest of any Pikmin type and, like Purple Pikmin, have pink petals. Their most striking abilities are their poison resistance and their ability to sense buried treasures with their large red eyes. Because they are a subterranean species and do not have a respective Onion, they must be propagated using their respective candypop bud.

White Pikmin are the second Pikmin type discovered in Pikmin Forever, being found in the first cave, Reticulate Garden, in Daybreak Glade. They are the fastest Pikmin species, retain their immunity to poisonous gas, and release venom upon being consumed. They dig faster than other types of Pikmin, and have a unique ability to detect completely buried objects, the latter making them the only Pikmin type that can discover fossils.
In Pikmin Kart
This article or section presents information pertaining to Pikmin Kart, a fanon game created by Blueflower999. |
White Pikmin, in Pikmin Kart, are items that are uncommonly found in item boxes. When thrown or dropped, they latch onto the nearest kart in their range, which is twice as large as that of other Pikmin. The driver of that kart must swerve wildly to shake the White Pikmin off, and even after doing so, the kart can not move until after a few seconds have elapsed. Driving through a gas pipe won't cause a White Pikmin to drop off, because of its poison resistance. As with all Pikmin, the Whistle item protects the driver in possession of it and allows them to use a Pikmin for themselves.

White Pikmin make a return to Pikmin V's Story Mode, this time with an Onion. They are found in the Sodden Swamp, a dark area that reflects their former habitat. Poison returns as a hazard for them to be immune to; however, their ability to detect buried treasure is still obsolete due to all buried treasures being inside of mounds and the Treasure Hunter upgrade being able to detect treasure inside of a mound. Additionally, their speed and damage when ingested have both been toned down. White Pikmin are mute instead of having their higher-pitched Pikmin 4 voice.

White Pikmin reappear in Pikmin: Attack of the Breadbugs, retaining their fast speed and poison resistance. They and their Onion are found within the Toxin Territory of the Land of Wonders. White Pikmin poison enemies that consume them, the damage an enemy takes dependent on its size; the smaller the enemy is, the more damage it will receive. Poisonous enemies, and few other enemies, can not be hurt by consuming White Pikmin. Bosses take little to no damage from eating White Pikmin.

In Pikmin: Dual Worlds, White Pikmin, as per usual, are small, very quick, and resistant to poison. Their small stature means they weigh three-fourths of that of an average Pikmin. They also get eaten less frequently while in a crowd of other Pikmin. When eaten, they poison the creature that ate them. White Pikmin are found in Flamenco Forest, which is explorable not long after discovering Red Pikmin.

White Pikmin are the seventh type of Pikmin to be discovered in Pikmin: Return to the Distant Planet, being found at the Giant's Workshop. These pink-petaled Pikmin are smaller than most other Pikmin and have a weaker attack power, however, they're also very nimble, placing most of their usefulness in carrying objects, especially when paired with the otherwise slow Purple Pikmin. Their small stature, unfortunately, makes them prone to freezing and their chemical makeup also makes them weak to fire and heat. Their beady red eyes let them sense items shallowly buried underground, and they also generate a potent poison within themselves to severely damage enemies when eaten. They're also naturally resistant to toxins and chemicals and can adapt very quickly to live in polluted environments.

White Pikmin are the second species of Pikmin discovered in Pikmin: Treasure Colonization. Their flower petals are pink. They are immune to poison and some types of chemistry hazards, and which hazards are chemistry-based varies, so check the hazards themselves to see which ones are safe to these Pikmin, and which ones are still harmful. They're the fastest Pikmin of the bunch and are the most efficient if there isn't water in the way of their destination. In said situation, Blue Pikmin and Winged Pikmin become better options once discovered. They possess an ability to spit acid, which is used constructively and offensively. They also have X-ray vision, allowing them to see buried treasures, which they'll start digging up when they find one. If they are to be eaten by an enemy, they'll release poison, dealing some damage. The height of a White Pikmin is twenty-five millimeters, and its carrying capacity under the effects of ultra-sour spray is three.
Notes
Captain Olimar's notes
- “Fastest type out of them all and one of the two Pikmin types I found underground in my previous adventures. They have some type of poison that is either created inside of them or just is there due to how they breathe, which they do have a respiratory system that I had learned about recently.”
Tang's notes
- “Not the best fighters, and definitely not my choice for anything combat-related unless they'll be used as bait or to have more Pikmin in a fight.”
Robin's notes
- “So efficient! They're very quick, and they're immune to poison, which is very common in certain areas. Keep an eye on these guys for some time since they'll be your best bet for work.”
