The Galactic Breadbug is a cosmic breadbug diety appearing in Pikmin: Attack of the Breadbugs as its final boss. It is encountered and fought in Dangerou's Depth's Loaf Chamber after the three Brown Sugar Breadbugs there have been defeated, causing it to manifest through a portal and begin its assault. It targets Pikmin and Captain Olimar alike, eating those it can and crushing those it steps on.

The Galactic Breadbug strongly resembles a Giant Breadbug in terms of shape, but over triple the size, and with countless stars and other objects visible through it.

Despite its appearance, the Galactic Breadbug can be attacked anywhere on its body. However, because it utilizes a wide array of hazards, specific Pikmin species are required to be used against the creature during all but one phase of the fight to damage it. Additionally, Pikmin can not weigh it down to slow or stop it. The Galactic Breadbug may initially be damaged by any Pikmin type, but when the creature's health reaches five-sixths, it will become and glow orange, and the celestial objects within itself will appear to be on fire, signifying that only Red Pikmin can damage it. During this phase, the Loaf Chamber becomes smoky. Upon reaching two-thirds of its maximum health, the creature will become yellow, its contents sparking wildly, signifying its use of electricity and to use Yellow Pikmin. At half-health, the Galactic Breadbug will adopt a blue coloration, its contents pouring out water much like its now-liquid body. Blue Pikmin need to be used against the creature's visible core, as all other Pikmin used against it will be pulled into its body and drowned unless whistled out. At one-third health, the Galactic Breadbug and its content will turn white and begin producing a poisonous purple powder, meaning White Pikmin must be used. Upon reaching the final sixth of its health, the Galactic Breadbug, as well as its contents, which freeze over, will become cyan. Anything the creature touches will freeze, so Cyan Pikmin must be used to put an end to the Galactic Breadbug. When defeated, the Galactic Breadbug will implode on itself, and any Pikmin caught in the rather large blast radius will be simply knocked back and deflowered.
