The Thunderhead Blowboar is an unusual blowhog in Pikmin: Dual Worlds that utilizes a wide array of powerful abilities, and is surrounded by cold, puffy, grayish white wool, thereby vaguely resembling a storm cloud. It serves as the boss of Skyline Cedar and is significantly larger than other varieties of airborne blowhog. It has a multitude of attacks, such as generating lightning and loud thunder, blowing wind that can crush or bury Pikmin or throw them off the tree it is fought on, and generating heavy rainfall and hail. Sometimes the air it blows is frigid. The Thunderhead Blowboar can use multiple attacks at once to ensure nothing is safe. The only way to defeat it is to throw Yellow Pikmin onto its fins, the only part of its body neither inherently deadly nor covered in frigid storm clouds, to weigh it down. While the creature is low to the ground, Ice Pikmin should be commanded to carry the assorted bundles of sticks in order to build them and climb up them so that they land on the sides of the beast. They begin attacking, and now all Ice Pikmin are capable of attacking it as it has fallen to the ground. When defeated, the Thunderhead Blowboar drops the Insulation Cloth.
