The Iridescent Pot Beetle is a species of flint beetle appearing in Pikmin 2... Again?. It resembles its Pikmin 3 incarnation, the Iridescent Flint Beetle's spotted subspecies. The Iridescent Pot Beetle appears the most in alternate sublevels, and unlike other flint beetle species, the Iridescent Pot Beetle runs away when the Pikmin and leaders come close and are quicker. They contain useful or notable objects such as stickers and other things, and take two hits from a Pikmin to drop whatever they have. The first Pikmin will remain on top of it, struggling to hang on, and before the second Pikmin lands, the first Pikmin will get up just in time to jump, landing at the same time as the second Pikmin, flipping the beetle over and making it drop its object before it burrows into the ground, never to appear again.
