Hazard

Bloom is a hazard that temporarily augments a Pikmin's abilities but may also make them deliriously happy, reducing their usefulness until the effects wear off.

Bloom is a helpful "hazard", if it can be considered that, appearing in Pikmin 2... Again?. They are exclusive to The Amazing New Update!!, first found in Mission 2. It is a gas resembling wither, but mint-colored in contrast to gray. Sweetberries and smile grenades serves as bloom's only source. Bloom will boost affected Pikmin in health and damage, indicated by a mint glow, contrary to wither. No Pikmin is resistant to it.
