A door is an obstacle that blocks progress beyond it until a key is used to unlock it. Doors can also be opened by other means, such as activating an external mechanism or collecting enough of a particular item. Alternatively, a door can be destroyed, potentially at the cost of a negative consequence.

Below this point is where users place their version of doors.

Doors are obstacles appearing in Pikmin 2... Again?. While they don't appear in any mode, they appear in The Amazing New Update!!, where they however only appear in Mission 2. The doors are based on the unused obstacle of same name, however, they resemble normal doors rather than generic doors. A door leads to a room, those are office rooms, doors can be only opened by the punch of a leader, or a Pikmin being thrown into it, the impact pushing the door, opening it. Some rooms have treasures, and one in particular, have Blower Pot as a easter egg, hidden behind a fake wall.

Doors are a new obstacle in Pikmin: Decayed Leaf. Doors are extremely rare to come across and are found mainly in the Abandoned Witch Hut. A door can be opened by captains, after which they and Pikmin can pass through and go to the next room. Sometimes, a key will be necessary to open a door in a sublevel.
