Air outlets are helpful obstacles that propel Pikmin and leaders into the air, usually to elevated ground or over walls. They are a safer alternative to water spouts, which may endanger inapt Pikmin with the water they spray. Some air outlets may be plugged by a stone, rendering them unusable until Pikmin dislodge the object.
