The Jackfruit is a miniboss appearing in Pikmin 2... Again?. It is exclusive to The Amazing New Update!!, appearing only in Mission 5. It is a giant, 3D Jackfruit, a plant appearing in the Chinese version of Plants vs. Zombies 2. It appears after the White Scarf steals the Sacred Sardines and disappears before Orimario and Looigi can take them, breaking through a wall and rolling after the duo throughout the temple's twisting corridors. It will crush any Pikmin and instantly down any leader it rolls over. It stalls every time it collides with an obstacle, destroying it, until it gets stuck between two pillars just in front of a finish line. As it rolls, the Jackfruit will constantly sing the main part of the song Tunak Tunak Tun, as referenced in its Plants vs. Zombies 2 almanac entry, and scream as long as it remains very close to the leaders. Its vocalizations will cease temporarily upon hitting an obstacle and permanently upon getting stuck.
