Notes

Olimar's notes

Unlike its original yellow counterpart; this creature is rarely nocturnal. The Mockiwi will spend most of its day wandering around the area in search of food. Although this creature may be menacing, its pink crest serves as an evolutionary weak point. The Mockiwi can only produce one color pigment to its feathers. However, this species seems to possess the capability to produce two pigments instead; sporting much more longer and pink feathers. Due to this, the body around said crest is much more sensitive. Even a single Pikmin can cause this creature to freak out.

Louie's notes

The meat around the feathers is much more rich. If you wish to create juicy grilled steaks out of this creature drenched in A1 sauce; use this part of the meat instead.

President’s notes

These weird bird things seem to have a good fashion sense on this planet. Maybe they could help me start a fashion business to make some extra money! I'd have to find a way to get them to stop eating me, however..

Attacks Eats Pikmin

The Crested Mockiwi appears in Pikmin: Spark, where they are encountered exclusively within dens. They behave similarly to normal Mockiwis, as they patrol a set area and attack anything that passes near and ignore them after they leave their eyesight. However, the hair of the Crested Mockiwi prevents the captains from tossing Pikmin from the front, meaning they have to attack the backside to damage it.

In ultra-spicy difficulty, it is faster, and may randomly dash forward while patrolling.

Notes

Abel's medical journal

The thick, stiff, frontal plumage of this species has a feel of plastic. Works well as a patient's mattress boxsprings.

Lyn's sale review

The wax in this creature's hair can be peeled off and be sold as a hair gel.

PIX's creature scan

Males of this species are highly aggressive and protective of their young. They have a tendency to charge anything even remotely close to said young, even if the attacker is twice their size.
