A mine is a proximity explosive that attaches to any surface or object it touches. The mine resembles a metal barrel with a light on top that is green while the mine is unarmed, yellow while armed, now with two beacon lights of matching color that spin around its equator, and ultimately magenta, still with beacon lights, upon detecting enemy movement. The device emits a distinct beep every second or so while armed and, when tripped, beeps faster for three seconds until exploding. Pikmin can be issued to pick one up, and throwing that Pikmin will make it stick the mine onto whatever it hits. If there is a mine on a carriable object that is then delivered to an Onion without the mine detonating, the explosive will slide off and fall on the ground.
