As Pikmin X: Deep Freeze takes place in a completely different region than the main series games, it would make sense that many of the organisms found in Pikmin 1 and 2 would not be on this list.

Grub-dogs

A widespread classification of opportunistic predators, mostly nocturnal. Grub-dogs display a diverse array of colors and adaptations for multiple different lifestyles.

"Standard" Bulborbs

The basic template from which the entire group derives from. These four are all behaviorally identical and only differ in their choice of habitat.

"Advanced" Bulborbs

More divergent species that nonetheless do not stray too far from the standard Bulborb body plan.

Bulblaxes

This group contains the largest Grub-dogs and is primarily composed of miniboss-tier species.

Other

The most heavily divergent of them all, which do not fit into the other categories.

Breadbugs

Closely related to the Grub-dogs, these diminutive scavengers encompass both the "true breadbugs" and the "bulborb mimics."

Mandiblards

Tiny, burrowing insects that display extreme sexual dimorphism. Some are scavengers while others are active hunters of Pikmin.
