The Creeping Nettlenatter is a chrysanthemum appearing in Pikmin X: Deep Freeze. At first glance, it appears to be nothing more than a bundle of brambles; however, when approached, it will reveal a claw-like mouth on a long neck and begins to slowly slither after leaders and Pikmin in a strafing motion. The Creeping Nettlenatter's base is made of shifting and squirming brambles that stun and deflower Pikmin that touch it, making them easy prey for the creature. To attack it, Pikmin must be specifically aimed at the creature's head, but be warned that it can and will attempt to snap at Pikmin from a decent distance should they come too close. When killed, the brambles composing this creature's body wither away, allowing its head to be collected for Pikmin seeds.
