The Incendiary Krelbornid is a monster introduced in Pikmin X: Deep Freeze. It is a vaguely draconian creature with three eyes, a toothy maw, two hooked arms, and a propeller that allows it to fly well above the throwing height of most Pikmin. When approached, it flies upwards, tries to align itself over the Pikmin, and then shoots a wide cone of fire downwards before floating back to the ground to catch its breath. It can also eat nearby Pikmin while resting. Although using Yellow Pikmin makes the battle a bit quicker, it is much safer to wait for the creature to descend and use Red Pikmin, as they are immune to the Krelbornid's attack.
