Pikmin Story: Heroes of Light is a fanon Pikmin roleplaying game created by BeatStormFX. It takes place on PNF-404, after Pikmin 4 and before Pikmin: Iris. As a Pikmin, the player and their companion set off to help fight back against the darkness taking over PNF-404 as more Pikmin join them to help find the Gems of Light and destroy the darkness once and for all. The game has a top-down perspective and pixelated graphics, mimicking the style of retro roleplaying games.

Story

A long time ago, darkness began to overtake PNF-404, and even the Pikmin Army was overtaken by its power. So, to keep the darkness at bay and eventually stop it, the eight sages used their power to transform themselves into the Gems of Light. The wife of the lead sage told him that their descendants would reawake him and that they would use the gems' light to banish the darkness once and for all. 200 years later, the darkness returns, and having allied the Pikmin with the monsters, it's more powerful than before.

Can our new heroes stop the rising darkness from taking over their home planet before it's too late...?
