After everything had been tied up with Olimar, Louie and the Overlord of All Lifeforms, things went back to normal. The company was no longer in debt, considering Louie was forced to return the Pokos he had stolen, and the Pikmin were relocated to Posy Island. Subordinate Louie had been tasked with transporting a batch of extremely valuable Golden Pikpik Carrots to a neighboring planet, Kharsho. As he traveled throughout space to transport this load, he dozed off to sleep, as per usual Louie protocol. This caused his head to accidentally press the eject button on the Hocotate ship, which caused the ship to launch all the crates of the valuable carrots, fifty of them to be exact, careening down to PNF-404. As Louie awoke to the situation he accidentally set himself in, he heads off to PNF-404, hoping to collect all of the crates before they're eaten by the wildlife or lost to the elements. The only problem; he has thirty-five days to do so before he must return to his planet, or risk running out of fuel for the ship.

Pikmin: Pitstop is a fanon game concept created by Soundwave and for the Nintendo Switch. The game's events place after those of Pikmin: Decayed Leaf, being set a few years after Olimar returns home. Overall, it's a much smaller game than the previous games that have come before it, as shown with its few enemies, areas, and Pikmin types.

Plot

After everything had been tied up with Olimar, Louie, and the Overlord of All Lifeforms, things went back to normal. As he traveled throughout space to transport this load, he dozed off to sleep, as per usual. While slumped over, his head accidentally pressed the eject button on the Hocotate ship, which caused the ship to launch all the crates of the valuable carrots, fifty of them to be exact, careening down to PNF-404. As Louie awoke to the situation he accidentally set himself in, he headed off to PNF-404, hoping to collect all of the crates before they were eaten by the wildlife or lost to the elements. The only problem: he has thirty-five days to do so before he must return to his planet, or risk running out of fuel for the ship.
