The Overlord of All Lifeforms is a mysterious being who serves as the final boss in Pikmin: Decayed Leaf. The spiritual being resembles a muscular human male in stature and is made of a fiery yet cosmic purple substance through which dozens of galaxies are visible. The Overlord of All Lifeforms is responsible for almost all major supernatural phenomena in the Pikmin series, including the Waterwraith, Mockwraith, Plasm Wraith, Revengeful Crawbster, and Ancient Sirehound, and raids. It even includes small things, like enemies falling from the sky or the cave ceiling.
First encounter
After a grueling nighttime raid, a small flame ignites in front of the group, seemingly out of nowhere. Suddenly, the fire erupts into a seemingly large wormhole, knocking the crew away, and a large being walks out of it. He is quite large, around the full size of the Plasm Wraith. The being illuminates the surrounding area with his immaculate glow. Galaxies swirled throughout his illusionary skin, symbolizing his seemingly supernatural presence. The President runs off in fear, but Captain Olimar stands his ground.
“Captain Olimar... I have been waiting for you.”
- Captain Olimar is taken aback in shock. The mysterious being knew his name, despite them never meeting. Not only that, it spoke Hocotatian.
“I have been watching you and your subordinate wander throughout my beautiful planet, pillaging the world and killing my children. I have had enough... Tonight, it stops. Tonight, you leave Earth, Olimar.”
- Olimar was confused, but he managed to put the pieces together. This being must be the guardian of PNF-404... or, Earth. But it still did not explain how he knew his name. Olimar confronts the being on this.
“That is irrelevant... What I must know is why you keep coming back here... and for what? Money!? You are killing innocent creatures... ruining the balance of my ecosystem... ALL FOR A QUICK BUCK. I'VE HAD ENOUGH.”
- Olimar steps back from this being's menacing tone. The Overlord of All Lifeforms was a very menacing being. But Olimar did not back down. He asked the being where Louie is.
“That fool? Why would you care anyway? He always causes trouble... But if you want to know so badly, I had to lock him up in my lair. Letting him go freely caused many of my children to be brutally tortured and consumed by this... this FREAK!”
- Olimar falls down as the Overlord's aura flairs up. The ground began to quake and the wind picked up speed. Small pebbles began to levitate around the being.
“IF YOU REALLY WANT YOUR PRIZED COWORKER BACK, THEN YOU'LL HAVE TO PRY HIM FROM MY COLD, DEAD HANDS!”
- Olimar and the Pikmin get ready to take on the being. The President nervously follows suit.
“AND FOR DESTROYING MY ECOSYSTEM... I WILL DESTROY YOU!!”
