PNF-404 Pet Shop is a fan-made Pikmin-themed pet simulation game created by Violetblooded. In the game, players take the role of a caretaker named Dan, who takes care of a variety of PNF-404-native creatures, ensuring each one has the proper living conditions. Various catalogs are unlocked throughout the game’s story mode, unlocking new creatures to put in enclosures.

Gameplay
Story Mode

The main mode of the game. This is the story of Dan, a normal human being who hears about a new pet shop opening up in town.
Sandbox Mode
This mode allows doing anything with unlimited space and resources, as well as buy anything with infinite money. This mode is unlocked by beating Story Mode.
Challenge Mode

This mode gives a limited amount of time to make as much money as possible. This mode is unlocked by getting a Regal Diamond ranking on five enclosures.
Pikmin Playground

This special mode allows playing with the Pikmin accumulated during Story Mode. This mode is unlocked by getting at least 5 different species of Pikmin.

Catalogs

Catalogs allow the purchase of different types of creatures for enclosures. Each catalog has its own suite of creatures.
Enclosures

Enclosures are where creatures are kept. They come in various sizes, and most creatures prefer a certain size. Each enclosure can be fine-tuned to suit whatever creatures are sheltered in them.
Toys

Sometimes, creatures can get bored, which is why there are plenty of toys to purchase and give them. There are three different types of toys: enrichment, educational, and fidget. Enrichment toys will provide creatures with different forms of enrichment. Educational toys can teach more advanced creatures about things. Fidget toys can keep creatures with limbs entertained.
Decor

Decor can be placed around enclosures to liven up them. Some creatures like specific types of decor.
Food

Eventually, creatures will get hungry, which is why there is a variety of different foods for them to snack on. Each creature has certain types of food it likes and dislikes.
