Mechanics

Leveling system
The leveling system works very much like other roleplaying games. Experience is gained by killing enemies or as rewards for certain tasks, and upon gaining enough experience, the character will level up, becoming slightly stronger. The maximum level is 50. Enemies are also affected by the leveling system, in that they may level up as the player characters do.
Currency and experience
Currency and EXP are other mechanics in Piktopia. Currency is used for buying clothing and accessories, while EXP is used for leveling up party members so they can learn new skills. Both can be earned by killing enemies or as rewards for certain tasks and from chests.
