Unfortunately a [[Red Bulborb]] follows her as well, ready to take a bite out of her, but the star suddenly splits apart into several smaller stars and scares away the grub-dog, and she is dragged back home by her parents. Her home, found deep underground, later gets [[raid]]ed by monsters, forcing the citizens to flee deeper into the caverns. There, in the chaos, Magdalene encounters the star once again. She touches the star, and it sheds its shell to reveal a pale [[Onion]]. The Onion drops a single seed, and the adventure begins. | |||

Pikmin Evolution is a Pikmin game concept made by Glubbfubb for the Nintendo Switch. The story takes place in an alternate timeline that occurs after the bad ending of Pikmin 1, where Olimar becomes a Pikmin, and explores the ramifications of such an event.
