Pikmin 4 Booster area pass is a Dlc to pikmin 4 that unlocks new stories each with it's own new Pikmin type to use.

New Enemies: Comet Crawlers: Fast-moving creatures that leave a trail of ice that can freeze Pikmin. Solar Flare Sprites: Fiery beings that can overheat and burn Pikmin if they get too close. New Challenges: Galactic Trials: Time-limited challenges that test players’ skills in resource management and enemy combat. Cosmic Conquest: A strategic mode where players fight for control over different territories on a map. Story sometime after saving louie the rescue corps get a call from the president, who has been banished to another planet by the all devouring black hole loan sharks the planet is one that is mad for fire and ice, you and olimar decide it's best that you take red and ice pikmin with you, you first land in the lunar wastes where you meet Hollie, the rescue corps astrologist she tells you that to discover new areas you need cosmic sparklium a new energy source, while collecting treasures a strange cosmic shadow that looks like the president appears the shadow introduces you to the astronmin and challenges you to a cosmic conquest, Olimar Accepts the challenge, there are other cosmic shadows that challenge them to galactic trials it appears these cosmic shadows are similar to leafling castaways, as you collect treasures and castaways oatchi discovers a new path that allows him to fly, after learning to fly you head to the satellite base, yonny has discover that Lumiknolls also inhabit this planet these ones produce orange glow sap and seem to be linked to the astronmin since time doesn't pass on this planet they are always present they discover the green and orange onions and manage to cure all previously and new cosmic shadows, as they reach to nebula garden they find out the cosmic conquest cosmic shadows are debt collectors and the president made them this way so he could be free but at a cost that he hands over his company to a villainous entity, they say defeating this entity will save the entire universe, after saving and curing the president, you enter the final crater(Craters are the same as caves) after reaching the last sublevel the final battle begins, it turns out a sirehound sized cosmicstool was behind this, after defeating it now over creatures can be turned into cosmic shadows and you take all castaways back to pnf-404, Clifhanger the rescue corps discover a new area it's very cold something tells me that this area will be explored another day
Wave 2 will release in July not much is known other than it will set up Pikmin 4's canon placement in the timeline
