The '''Umbral Ridge''' is one of the sub-areas located in the [[Vengeful Thicket]] and takes place within the outcropping that forms the hollow ceiling of the region's inner mountainside. The main gimmick here is the inconsistent lighting; the faulty wiring causes the lightbulbs illuminating the cave to periodically flash on and off, deactivating [[Bloominous Stemple]]s, activating [[Dark Urchool]]s, obscuring visibility, and other hindrances. The lights can be temporarily kept on by activating [[electrode]]s, but even they will eventually deactivate if they aren't being held together by [[Yellow Pikmin]]. There are also plenty of [[chasm]]s surrounding the perimeter of the cavern, so take care to keep Pikmin from falling to their demise.
