Thriving Utopia is an entire desolate neighborhood with houses that can be entered in many ways, all with different hazards for their respective regions.

Upon entering the thriving utopia, there will be a message from the ship. The message tells the main active captain that they'd better hurry as the sun is going down. The ring for alerting Pikmin to the onion before midnight is stuck on, and the time meter has the sun moving in strange patterns across the bar.

The treasure gauge will be constantly be on and detecting something, but there's no sound. When an enemy is killed, the ghost will look like a random pikmin colors' ghost instead of the enemy ghost. Pikmin that die will play the notification sound for when an item has been dug up. The sound for captains being chosen, the whistle, and the captains taking damage will be replaced by the Pikmin death sound. When the ship receives a treasure, it will create a Pikmin ghost and play the sound for when the time of day changes. Idle Pikmin will cower instead of standing, sitting, or sleeping, and will shake profusely. Pikmin that are active will shake as if they are cold and will make random sounds like they're working on doing something, and occasionally, a Pikmin will start screaming for no reason and go idle.

Geographical features

The Yellow Box section is a massive playground filled with sand. The playground can be scaled with all pikmin, though purple pikmin cannot climb the stairs up to the top and will instead need to be thrown off of a dog. (For climbing more than the first stair, use Cauliflower with ultra-spicy spray so that they can climb)

Major events

The current three-four active captains will leave the ship and run out, and looking around, they only find One onion. The red onion. There's a sudden noise, and the captains quickly head out through the water in front of it as a giant foot crashes down in front of them and a twig falls, blocking the way back. Six Flukeweed then curl outward, revealing that this obstactle is a Flukeweed Dam. The giant steps over as the captains turn around. There's a loud giggling sound and then a hand reaches down and picks up the ship, before sprinting off in another direction. During the sprint, three large comets can be seen flying, those being the three Ship parts found in the area. Fortunately, the Airborne Emergency Pod 4.15 (Aep4.15) is intact enough to leave and follow the player, serving as a way to deliver objects.

When the captains regain control, the maps for each area shift to be a new version with more open, and the Day 2 map will be shown.
