The Woods of Occlusion is the third area in Pikmin X: Deep Freeze. This region is located within an icy pine forest looming over damp, mossy underbrush which encompasses the majority of the area. Vegetation includes but is not limited to mosses, ferns, and winter shrubs, with conifers surrounding the area's perimeters. True to its name, some parts of this area have thick sheets of fog along the ground that obscure objects inside, which some enemies will use to their advantage to catch Pikmin by surprise.
