Attacks Eats Pikmin, summons its guardian

The Lesser Patchy Bulboar is a species of grub-hog appearing in Pikmin: Neo. Being a juvenile Patchy Bulboar, its appearance is undeveloped, having a smaller snout and paler hide and lacking tusks and its hooves unsplit. During the day, the Lesser Patchy Bulboar stays close to its parent and spends its time searching for seeds to eat. It is always careful of its surroundings and will scream for help if in any danger. If injured, its parent will lick it clean of any injuries, healing it. At night, it will hide in its den to wait while its parent hunts for food, which it gladly eats as nourishment and to heal itself in the process. If it needs to move out of the den it calls home, it will follow its parent until it finds a suitable place to live. These creatures love to eat a variety of food ranging from meat, plants, eggs, and even mushrooms. They aren't picky, although they do prefer to eat food given to them by their parents. Only basic attacking strategies are needed to defeat this creature.

Notes

Olimar's notes

The young of the recently discovered Patchy Bulboar. I am bewildered by the discoveries I made on this trip. Not only are they genetically distinct from the grub-dogs, but they also seem to share the same behavioral patterns as them for some reason. Further research is needed to discover these creatures' fascinating secrets.

Louie's notes

Boil the body of this beast until golden brown. It's recommended to remove the eyestalks before consumption. Has a soft and deep flavor to it.
