Appearance in Pikmin 3.

Reinforced gates, also known as stone gates, are less destructible than ordinary gates. Pikmin can not attack these stone walls, and if they are made to try, they will just tap their stems at them for a bit before sighing and giving up. Depending on the type and color of a reinforced gate, a number of bomb rocks must detonate near one in order to take it down. Some reinforced gates feature murals on the pillars supporting them.
