The Trembling Chasm is the second sub-area in the Woods of Occlusion, an area in Pikmin X: Deep Freeze. The entrance is blocked by an Icy Rocktor which must be killed to provide access. True to its name, it is an icy cavern highly prone to seismic activity. The earthquakes will periodically cause chunks of ground to shift and move around, and boulders may fall from the ceiling in certain spots. There is also a lot of lava that has been exposed by the unstable ground, so overall there is a lot of emphasis on proper timing while exploring this dangerous sub-area.
