The Beach Candypop Bud is a candypop bud appearing in Pikmin: The Continents. Their habitat, true to their name, is the beach, where they grow on the coastal shores but never in water. Compared to PNF-404's candypops, they have three petals, all with dark speckles, and produce fewer Pikmin, three instead of five, and all of them Sand Pikmin. Their sand-flavored petals are surprisingly nutritious and are regularly eaten, at the expense of the plant's life, by many creatures, including Kaboolas. Pikmin that wish to become Sand Pikmin may leap into a Beach Candypop all by themselves.
