The Verminator is one of the two final bosses in Pikmin: Invasion of the Giants, and is found at the Queen's Statue. After walking down into the sewer and arriving in an open chamber, a brief cutscene plays of the ground starting to rumble, and the camera panning upward to show the Verminator climbing down into the chamber from the open manhole, focusing on it the entire time, and then revealing its exterminator gun after landing on the ground. For the fight, bring roughly seventy Green Pikmin, twenty White Pikmin, and ten Purple Pikmin to battle the Verminator with. Once the cutscene ends, find a place to seek shelter for when the Verminator executes an attack. Upon its defeat, a cutscene plays of the Verminator quickly climbing out of the shaft, leaving behind a treasure, the Power Capsule.

The Verminator has two basic attacks to use during the fight and will start using two new attacks as its health is depleted. Its two basic attacks consist of stomping, which casts a shadow in its range, and spraying acid from its exterminator gun. At half-health, the Verminator will begin to periodically drop a ball that spews poison in a small area around it and White Pikmin can be used to attack and defuse. Starting at quarter-health, the Verminator will prime and drop several mousetraps around the arena. The mousetraps will trigger when so much as approached; those caught in one will die instantly, but those beside one will simply be thrown back and depetaled. Thus, the optimal way to disarm a mousetrap is to leverage the shockwaves Purple Pikmin produce upon landing from a throw. Before each attack, the Verminator will stoop to closely inspect the Pikmin and leaders; use this opportunity to throw Pikmin at its face to harm it.
