Spiroids are strange avian enemies in Pikmin 5 that have four wings and three eyes and travel in small groups. When alone, they peacefully crack open nectar eggs and drink their contents, but if threatened, they will stop, fly up in the air, circling around the offending leaders or Pikmin, and start picking up individual Pikmin. Captured Pikmin will be eaten if the Spiroid is not attacked soon enough, but it can be knocked down using Yellow Pikmin or Winged Pikmin. They have a low amount of health, but unlike other lesser huntinpecks, they do not die in a single hit. If one of them falls, others in the conflict will frantically speed up, begin to sweat, and will keep their distance from the Pikmin and leaders before coming closer again.
