Attacks Eats Pikmin, scatters snow and spines, spews freezing water

The Icebreaker Crawmad is a boss crawmad appearing in Pikmin: Spark, where it is the third major boss and major boss of the Chilling Frontier. It is a massive blue creature with a cyan underbelly and a large, hooked dorsal fin. It lives under the ice covering a gigantic lake, where it can be seen swimming, and catching anything unfortunate enough to slip on the frozen body of water. Despite its main body being visible under the surface, the best way to track the Icebreaker Crawmad's position is by watching its dorsal fin, which protrudes through the ice. The giant beast will often attempt to use the ice above it to its advantage by attempting to catch any Pikmin that slipped on the slippery surface. While the creature may seem invincible, the hooks on its dorsal fin allow Winged Pikmin to lift it out of the lake to reveal its soft underbelly. Even out of the water, the crawmad still presents a myriad of dangers, such as being able to pounce on and eat Pikmin as a normal crawmad can. Additionally, it can scatter spines from its dorsal fin to block a leader's attacks, scatter a thick layer of snow to trap its attackers under, and spew a stream of frigid water that freezes most Pikmin and drowns those that are resistant to cold. Upon getting the opportunity to, the Icebreaker Crawmad will dive back into the frozen lake and continue its assault. Although only Winged Pikmin are needed to expose the crawmad to attack, Hairy Pikmin are recommended to take to this fight as their traction on slippery surfaces, ability to break through thick snow, and higher attacking power will complement the Winged Pikmin greatly.

In Ultra-Spicy Mode, the Icebreaker Crawmad requires more Winged Pikmin to pull out and can spew water from under the frozen lake.

Upon death, the Icebreaker Crawmad drops the Sparklium Distiller, a mechanical juice press that is worth HP Sparklium icon.png × 600 and allows access to the Fertile Savanna. The Sparklium Distiller's greatest importance is that it is used to vaporize and liquify Sparklium into a pure medicinal fluid.
