Bamboo Garden is one of the first caves encountered in Pikmin 2: New Year, found in the Jungle of Repose. Purple Pikmin are discovered here, and there are  × 500 worth of treasures, with the Spherical Atlas being the main one.

How to reach

The cave is found where Emergence Cave is located in Pikmin 2. In order to get to the cave, tear down a bramble gate and then kill the Easter Chrysanthemum guarding the cave's entrance. Small, glowing butterflies can be seen around the hole.

The sublevel is populated by a few weak enemies and is easy to clear out. Kill the dwarf grub-dogs guarding the treasures and collect them. The Anxious Sprout may be harder to find as it is almost completely buried in the dirt.

The starting point of this sublevel is an elevated plateau of dirt right above the Spherical Atlas. Kill the Dwarf Forest Bulborb, and then convert Red Pikmin into Purple Pikmin. Once the Spherical Atlas is collected and the cave is exited, Awakening Arctic becomes available to visit. This sublevel contains a unique visual theme consisting of dark green terrain with roots sprouting out of the side of the walls.
