==Behavior==
It is not recommended to engage a Xyynog Bulbzerg in combat unless the Pikmin that are resistant to its attacks are accessible. Although Rock Pikmin can be eaten by the Xyynog Bulbzerg, feeding it Bronze Pikmin, Silver Pikmin, or Gold Pikmin will cause its teeth to break, and the creature to spit them out and be unable to eat Pikmin again. After this, [[Purple Pikmin]], another Pikmin species effective because of their combat ability, can be used against the beast without fear of them being eaten. Upon reaching half-health, a Xyynog Bulbzerg will summon between two to four Dwarf Xyynog Bulborbs to assist it, although they are often of little threat and are easy to take out.

If you don't have at least one Bronze/Silver/Gold Pikmin or a decent amount of Rock Pikmin, '''''DO NOT ENGAGE'''''. Your squad will be annihilated. If you do have a Bronze/Silver/Gold Pikmin, place it in the Bulbzerg's sight, and let it bite it. The Pikmin will not be hurt, but the Bulbzerg's teeth will break, allowing stronger Pikmin like Purple Pikmin to attack. Both Rock Pikmin and Bronze/Silver/Gold Pikmin are immune to the beast's attacks, but the Rock Pikmin can be eaten. Bombard it with a mixture of Purple, Rock, and Bronze/Silver/Gold Pikmin. The Dwarves are like other Dwarf Bulborbs, take them out quick and they won't be trouble.
