The Shadowraith is a hidden boss in Pikmin 3 (Flish addition). After collecting all 20,000 Pokos, You must head to Nestled Forest right away. here, the usual enemies will be missing. If you head to where the Common Spotted Jellyfloat is normally located, A strange Cloud of mist will appear from nowhere which turns black after become full size, about the size of a Red Bulborb. Then, a Waterwraith Like shape will sprout out of it, and an angry and eviler version of the Smokewraith music will begin to play. The Smokewraith will grab pikmin and stuff them into it's Black Mist. The Pikmin cannot attack it, except for the Black Pikmin (Pikmin 3). Though it has alot of health, the Smokewraith will leave a Bluish version of its body without the smoke and black eyes. the music will end with the normal boss battle end music, and the Smokewraith will scream like a young girl and turn blue. this dead body can be taken back to an Onion for 120 sprouts. though somewhat large, this body only take two pikmin to carry, Olimar Puts in His Notes that When he examined the Smokewraith's Body, it exploded when he tried to open it.

Olimar's Notes

Though this beast is only about the size of an adult bulbmin in a Bulborb, it is the most dangerous creature I have ever seen or fought. The Pikmin, even the faithful and brave Black Pikmin, Seemed so terrified I was suprised they even fought it. however, the rewards were great and greatly increased the number of pikmin in my squad. Strangest of all, when I tried to open up and inspect the body, I was confronted by the ash of the exploding beast.
